An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and customer focused Customer Service Representative to join a leading business in the industrial sector.
Based in Smithfield you’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values communication, initiative, and a genuine passion for helping people.

The Position
  • Be the first point of contact for customers; answering phone and email enquiries with professionalism and warmth
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately via our internal system
  • Handle customer queries and provide updates
  • Work closely with our sales, warehouse, production, and accounts teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate ETA and availability clearly
  • Support the sales team with admin tasks including account setup and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strong customer service skills
  • A friendly, confident phone manner and a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail and solid organisation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities
  • A team player who’s also self motivated and proactive
  • Tech-savvy familiar with MS Office and experience with Oracle or similar is a bonus
  • Experience in an industrial or technical customer service environment is highly regarded
 
The Candidate
  • Proven experience in a customer service, sales support, or order processing role
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to de-escalate and resolve customer concerns efficiently and professionally
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine customer-first mindset
  • Ability to stay organised and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • A proactive attitude, with an eye for identifying areas for improvement and a willingness to suggest and implement changes
